Actual Output Power of User Equipment in 4G and 5G
February 2021 | Info Graphic
This study-in-a-slide summary is derived from two studies that measured the actual output power of 4G and 5G mobile phones in a wide variety of real-life settings and operations (i.e different countries, networks, rural, suburban, urban and in-door office settings). The findings show that the typical output power levels of these devices are only a few percent of their maximum transmit power.
